YAP is an anonymous encrypted group chat platform. It is built for two primary use cases:

1. **Anyone who wants to communicate privately** without leaving a digital footprint
2. **Trading terminals and crypto platforms** that want to offer community chat for token pages without building their own infrastructure

## The core principle

Most chat platforms collect your identity, store your messages indefinitely, and sell your data. YAP is designed to make all of that technically impossible.

* There is no account system — your anonymous identity is generated locally in your browser
* Messages are encrypted before they are stored — the server cannot read them
* Everything is deleted after 24 hours — automatically, with no exceptions
* Your IP address is never stored — it is hashed immediately and deleted within 24 hours

## Two products in one

### Chat Rooms

Open-ended anonymous group chat. Create a room, share the link, and start talking. Anyone with the link can join. Rooms are free and require no sign-up.

### Token Chat Widget

A fully embeddable chat widget for crypto tokens. Each contract address gets its own dedicated chat room with sentiment voting (Bull / Bear / Scam), a global leaderboard, and live token metadata. The widget is designed to be dropped into any trading terminal or token page with one line of HTML.

**URL format:** `https://widget.yaphub.xyz/token/CONTRACT_ADDRESS`
